The Ascent Group of colleges opened its India Office in 2017 to strengthen its relationship with the Indian market and to work with quality agents.
Ascent has put strict processes in place which are aligned with the requirements of Immigration New Zealand for the Indian market and also ensures that risk management controls and processes are in place.
This led to increased students numbers in 2018 by almost 25% and the visa approval rate increasing from 60% to over 75%.
Independent Advisory Services also opened an office in India to operate as an offshore delivery centre.
The Judges commended this investment for revenue generation from doing Business with India.
