Rambutan Media Works, a young and vibrant media and entertainment company operating in Singapore and New Zealand is launching tomorrow, Friday, October 15, 2021 a Digital Radio Station that would tick every moment of the day across the Continents.
The Station that never sleeps, called, Online Music Galatta (OMG), is stated to be the only digital radio station in the world to bring together more than 60 handpicked RJs from 12 countries to serve ethnic Tamil communities.
Nine Grid, Six Continents
OMG- Online Music Galatta has nine grids, one each for New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, India, Dubai, UK, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and USA, carrying news, news, music and talk sets championing Tamil language, culture, pop culture and traditions.
OMG New Zealand will be owned and operated by Rambutan Media Works through its directors Yugendran Vasudevan and Hayma Yugendran.
Popular show organiser, producer, director and singer Yugendran (son of the late legendary singer Malaysia Vasudevan) said that audiences will be able to access infotainment on OMG, whilst enjoying hit Tamil songs from the various eras.

“OMG coalesces international talents under one roof and exposes diasporic nuances to Tamil language and culture through its glocalised (global & local) content. OMG-Online Music Galatta not only carries Cinema songs but also private albums,” he said.
The grids operate two to five hours and all programmes will be reflective of the Tamil population of the concerned country or region. Malaysians will be able to access five hours of content steered by Malaysian RJs; Singapore, India, and Sri Lanka each have three-hour grids and the other countries (USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Germany, Kenya) provide content of two hours duration every day.

About Yugendran and Hayma
An eminent Indian film industry personality, film actor, music director and singer, he has to his credit more than 200 songs under the music direction of Maestro Ilayaraja, A R Rahman and several other music directors. He has produced and hosted many prominent Indian TV programmes and conducts events and video production through their company, Rambutan Media Works in New Zealand and Singapore.
Hayma Malini is a popular RJ in Singapore, Sri Lanka, and India.
She started her media journey as a Producer and Presenter of Oli96.8FM (Singapore) and was headhunted to launch a Tamil Radio Station in Sri Lanka where she helmed Swarnaoli 102.2FM as its Executive Producer. She grew to be the celebrity RJ in Aha FM in India and is a well-known personality on Tamil TV in Singapore and India.
Hayma brings to OMG more than 20 years of media experience and more than 10 years of management expertise. She has successfully matched and managed entertainment and education through commercially viable media solutions for businesses around the world.

One of India’s famous RJ is Deepak, the main cast of the popular Drama series-Thamizhum Saraswathiyum whilst Malaysia carries on its grid’s popular rapper V-sha. Indhran and Selvi are former RJs of a popular FTA channel. Saint is a popular influencer and Hemaji and Nitya are popular actors in the local media.
