BNZ creates greater awareness

The Staff at BNZ enjoyed a day of fun, food and entertainment as they marked Diwali at their Head Office in Deloitte Centre, Queen Street on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.

Head of Indian Community Banking Ansuya Naidoo briefly outlined the spirit of Diwali and how the Festival has become an important item in the corporate and social calendar in New Zealand.

“BNZ takes pride in its multi-ethnic staff and tries to observe the major festivals of various communities,” she said.

Among the highlights of the programme were two Indian South Indian classical dances performed by Ratna Venkat, a professional dancer based in Auckland.
