We are happy to announce that entries to the Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards 2011 are now open. We invite companies owned, managed and franchised by people of Indian origin registered in New Zealand to enter up to three categories of the Awards Scheme. All Companies registered in New Zealand and exporting a product or service to India are eligible to compete in the Best Excellence in Export to India category.
Entry forms can be downloaded from our Awards website (www.inliba.co.nz) on to your computer, and completed forms should be submitted online. We plan to conduct free Workshops for entrants in May, June and July, details of which will be announced shortly. A panel of judges, independent of this newspaper, will evaluate the entries and the finalists and winners will be announced at a Gala Black Tie Dinner and Awards Presentation Night, scheduled to be held in November 2011. Details of this programme will also be announced later.
Based on the feedback from the business community, we have introduced two new categories, namely, Business Excellence in Property Development and Business Excellence in Agriculture and Horticulture, reflecting the impressive strides made by the Indian business community in these sectors. The judges will welcome direct entries as well as nominations for the Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the Best Businesswoman of the Year Categories.
Indian Newslink launched the Awards Scheme in 2008 to recognise and reward successful entrepreneurs and entities in the Indian business community and encourage companies of Indian origin to put in place successful business plans and strategies.
