Attractive prizes await lucky winners

One of the most interesting aspects of our Sports Awards is that they bring together people from various ethnic groups to celebrate the success of our men and women, especially the younger members of the society.

As hundreds of people look forward to greet and applaud the finalists and winners in the 15 individual categories and the winners of the ‘Best Sportsman of the Year’ and the ‘Best Sportswoman of the Year’ at the Awards Night, we thought of adding value to the event this year.

The Indian Newslink Indian Sports Awards Presentation Night will be held at ASB Stadium, Kohimarama Road, Kohimarama from 630 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2013.

Brownsons & Memsaab

Jay Raniga, Managing Director of Brownsons Jewellers and Memsaab Fashions understands the significance of the Awards and how they motivate young players to improve their performance. His son Harshae won the ‘Under 20 Soccer Player of the Year’ award last year.

“I encourage all young men and women to be involved in sports to improve their concentration and mental and physical fitness. We are happy to offer two great prizes to winners of a raffle conducted at the Awards Night,” he said.

Attractive prizes

The entry tickets to the Awards Night will go into a draw from which, two lucky winners will be selected. One of them will receive a gold necklace valued at $1000 from Brownsons Jewellers and other winner will receive a Saree worth about $585, presented by Memsaab Fashions.

Established in 1932 by Albert Brownson, a philanthropist, Brownsons Jewellers has a strong heritage in the New Zealand jewellery industry.

The Raniga Family took over the business in 1988, leaving behind a successful retail and wholesale family operation in Fiji.

Thriving on the family’s enthusiasm for jewellery, the business has grown significantly in recent years. There are now five retail outlets throughout Auckland, catering to a market that demands premium quality.

Memsaab Fashions, which is a part of Brownsons, strives to give women the feminine grace, with the company’s creative team produces ‘everlasting wonders,’ resulting in not just garments but also a ‘Memsaab work of art’.
