Success for McClymont and Associates is about caring and helping people. That is the way Aakanksha has worked to differentiate the law firm from other Immigration specialists.
“Listening and understanding people’s needs and requirements is the cornerstone of the firm’s business. It is this philosophy which I believe is the secret to my success as the Chief Executive of our very successful New Zealand Immigration law firm,” she said.
Aakanksha learned about the obstacles that women in business face by experiencing the juggling act of work and family to achieve professional success. The world needs female entrepreneurs to show that women are not confined by social constraints. Future female entrepreneurs should be shown the necessary tools by other successful businesswomen, including the support required to flourish in the male dominated world of business.
“I strongly believe that my own success has been influenced by the strength of other female business leaders (such as the highly successful Indra Nooyi Chairperson & Chief Executive, PepsiCo, and Chanda Kochhar, Chief Executive, ICICI Bank) and inspired by their determination and drive for success, despite the barriers of race and sex.
Joining her husband’s firm in 2005 in a small two-room office, the couple have built the business from humble beginnings to a medium-sized law firm with 12 staff applying the philosophy that understanding people’s needs always comes first.
“The question is not who is going to let me; it is who is going to stop me”, Aakanksha said, quoting Ayn Rand, author of a number of Best Sellers including ‘The Fountain Head’ and ‘Atlas Shrugged.’
