Master healers due in Auckland

One of the most blessed couples of the Christian world with a ‘healing touch’ will be in Auckland next week to address a public meeting and participate in the official opening of a Church in Mt Roskill.

Dr Paul Dhinakaran and his wife Evangeline Paul (known affectionately with a prefix of Brother and Sister to their names) will speak about the importance of dedication to God, the significance of prayer and its curative powers at the public meeting, scheduled to be held on Friday, February 8 at 630 pm at Mahatma Gandhi Centre on 145, New North Road.

Jason Prasad, Pastor of the newly established ‘Prayer Tower’ said that millions of people around the world have been blessed at such meetings.

“We invite all New Zealanders to benefit from their presence. Admission is free and open all,” Pastor Prasad said.

The meeting, titled, ‘Jesus Calls,’ is dedicated to bringing solace, cure and peace to the suffering. The late DGS Dhinakaran (Dr Paul’s father) established it as a Ministry and dedicated it to praying for the broken-hearted people.

God’s Direction

Pastor Prasad said that the Ministry prays for people irrespective of their caste, creed and religion.

“It began in obedience to God’s vision and mandate given to the late DGS to serve the people through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. He and his son Dr Paul have sacrificed immensely, going through several ordeals in building the Kingdom of God and ‘Jesus Calls.’ Their involvement and actions were stirred by the plan and direction of God,” he said.

According to available information, as a young man, DGS became suicidal, forced by the anguish of poverty, sickness, unemployment and overall failure in life.

“As he was walking towards a railway track, he met his uncle, who shared with him the power of Jesus Christ.

“His words acted as a balm to the young man’s bruised heart. He told DGS to go home and commit his ways to the Lord. He did so and soon his heart was filled with hope, prayer, salvation and commitment to the Saviour,” Pastor Prasad said.

DGS began reading the scriptures and sought the Lord for seven years.

His plea was, “Lord, hear my prayer and grant me your power! I don’t want to live a dried Christian life anymore!”

Devine Presence

According to DGS, a divine presence filled the room during a family prayer on October 10, 1962 and he saw the Lord, who said, “I am Jesus, I have come to bless you. Son, this world has heard about my love and compassion but not seen it in a man’s life. Today, I am filling you with the same spirit of compassion that I had when I was in this world about 2000 years ago. Every time you are moved with this compassion, whatever you ask for my people shall be granted.”

Prayer Towers

Life took a new turn for DGS thereafter. Every time he prayed for people, he could feel the presence of God, with the Holy Spirit in action to glorify God.

Following the footsteps of his father, Dr Paul has established 35 Prayer Towers in India and eleven in other countries to pray for people in pain and suffering.

According to Pastor Prasad, the Auckland Prayer Tower, located at 1/80 Carr Road (Mt Roskill), is the forty forth Prayer Tower in the world.

“The Tower is open from 9 am to 6 pm (Monday to Friday) for all people and Healing and Blessing meetings are held on Tuesdays from 7 pm. We can be contacted on 0800-537872 for prayers round-the-clock. People can reach us for general inquiries on (09) 6207160 or 0274-772937,” Pastor Prasad said.
