An organisation dedicated to social and educational work is continuing its initiative to educate students on the values of the Hindu Vedas and a number of training courses are to be held in various parts of the country.
Participating students will learn Vedic Hawan Yah, Mantra Uchaaran, Bhajans, Yoga and Meditation at the first set of classes due to be held due to be held on August 4 at 8 Pennine Way, (Huntsbury) Christchurch from 530 pm.

Arya Samaj Pratinidhi Sabha New Zealand Inc Public Relations Officer Kiran Sundar said that the forthcoming programmes are a part of the ‘Annual Ved Prachaar’ that began on June 29 in Auckland.
“As well as following the agenda set for the ensuing programme, the activities included Vedic Shivir classes held up to July 5 with 26 students.
“Following the conclusion of this seven-day programme, a group of 30 supporters visited Hamilton, Wanganui, Wellington, Christchurch (Ashburton). ‘Shanka Samadhaan’ was the subject for this year’s Prachaar,” she said.
The topics covered included Eshwar, Jiu, Prariti, Dharm, Arth, Kaam, Moksh, Ved Ki Raksha and Saakaam Karm, she said.
“We established the Arya Samaj in Wellington, which we believe is an important development in our Movement,” Mrs Sundar said.
