Auckland based Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust is organising a religious event at the Mahatma Gandhi Centre at 145 New North Road in Eden Terrace on July 13, 2012 from 530 pm.
Master Saleem, a popular Bollywood singer and a specialist in rendering ‘Jagran’ (songs of awakening) will perform at the event, the proceeds from which will go towards ‘Aashirwad,’ the Rest Home Project of the Trust.
“The programme, titled, ‘Shree Durga Mata ki Chowki’ will be an occasion to sing in praise of Goddess Durga. It will include Bhajans, Aarti and Maha Prasad. Mata Chunni and Coconut ($11) will be available from 5 pm,” Trust Chairman Jeet Suchdev said.
