Natalie Bracken, who was wanted by the Police in connection with the murder of Police Officer Constable Matthew Dennis Hunt has been taken into custody.
The Police arrested the 30-year-old woman at about 330 pm at a West Auckland address without an incident, Detective Superintendent Dave Lynch said.
He said that Ms Bracken is assisting the Police with enquiries and that she will appear at the Waitakere District Court on Monday, June 22, 2020.
She faces driving charges and as an accessory to the murder of Constable Hunt.
“Temporary carriage of firearms across Tamaki Makarau is no longer in place,” he said, meaning that Auckland Police have reverted to the state of being unarmed.
