The Holy Month of Ramadan would end on or about September 12, leading to Eid-Al-Fitr, an important festival in the Muslim calendar.
Men, women and children would don new clothes, attend Mosques for special prayers and lectures and visit relatives and friends to exchange greetings and gifts.
Eid festivities would also denote service to the community, help to the poor and needy and programmes to foster the fraternal bond between Muslims and people of other faiths throughout the country.
