Hindi film industry star Tusshar Kapoor will be in Auckland on August 20, 2016 to participate in the ‘India Festival of Radio Tarana’ at the Vodafone Events Centre, 770 Great South Road, Manukau.
The popular actor belongs to an illustrious family that includes his father Jeetendra and sister Ekta Kapoor, known for several soaps on Indian television channels produced by her company ‘Balaji Telefilms’ and ‘Balaji Motion Pictures.’
Radio Tarana Managing Director Robert Khan said that ‘Tusshar will celebrate the Festival of India that will include the country’s cuisine, culture and costumes.
“Radio Tarana programmes are always free for common people. By bringing Tusshar, our team will provide an opportunity for hundreds of thousands of people to meet their favourite film star. He will spend time with his fans in the morning and in the evening, culminating in fireworks,” Mr Khan said.
A winner of the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his role in ‘Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai’ (2001), Tusshar is known for his spirited performance in a number of films, the foremost of which is the ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Kool Hain Hum’ series.
