Officials of fourteen IT companies from the South Indian state of Kerala will be visiting New Zealand later this month in search of business opportunities and possibly consider Memorandum of Understanding and other commercial arrangements with their counterparts in this country.
India New Zealand Business Council (INZBC) is coordinating the visit of this IT delegation led by P H Kurian, Principal Secretary to the Kerala government.
The Council has also organised a meeting and networking session on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 4 pm at the office of the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise located at Level 6, 139 Quay Street in Auckland’s Central Business District.
Global connectivity
The delegation is a part of ‘Group of Technology (GTech) Companies,’ which runs its ‘Global IT Connect Programme,’ connecting Kerala based companies with their worldwide counterparts.
INZBC Chairman Robert Barker said that the forthcoming business session will provide a unique opportunity to discuss ‘potential technology-based business and trade’ with the Chief Executives of the visiting companies.
“Discussions will be held on transformational IT solutions being developed in different verticals and possibilities of establishing partnerships and enhancing profitability. Those serious about doing business can have one-to-one sessions,” Mr Barker said and added that the forthcoming visit would be second for an IT delegation from Kerala.
