Inner beauty radiates love and passion
Modelling, fashion and makeup are all professions that enhance the beauty of a woman but it is the inner beauty that not only radiates but also endears, says Priyanta Pritika Datt, our Model of the Fortnight.
Two years ago, when we featured Priyanta, she and the issue (March 15, 2013) became instant hits. With a charming face and makeup, she became one of the most popular Models of the Fortnight, with hundreds of readers asking for a repeat performance.
As she mused over this feature, Priyanta said, “Inner beauty is all that matters and beauty comes in all beautiful shapes and sizes. I have been a model but my passion is in makeup and I get really creative.”
Diverse qualifications
She was only 12 years old when she migrated from her native Fiji with her family to New Zealand. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of International Tourism Management course at the Auckland University of Technology, she hopes to take wings, move overseas and launch a successful career.
She did not say the choice of her vocation but with a qualification in nursing and experience in selling Shiseido products, Priyanta could have more than one option. As a Capricorn, she has the will and ability to be a high achiever.
Mom inspires
She idolises her mother, saying that she is a strong and independent woman.
“I have learnt a lot from her; my mother is my main source of inspiration,” she said.
Priyanta said that her family has taught her valuable principles, which she will follow throughout her life.
“I believe in equality and equal opportunity,” she said.
