Randal Kolo Muani’s goal earns France a 2-0 victory and advances them to the World Cup 2022 finals.
The reigning champions France had a great start to the World Cup semi-finals when Théo Hernández hooked a volley in the fifth minute. A deflected attempt by Kylian Mbappé landed the ball to the French defender, Hernández, who scored the first goal of the match. The second goal for France came in the second half of the match when Kolo Muani, came on as a substitute. He scored in just 44 seconds of his entry, sealing the victory for France. It was Muani’s first international goal.
France advances to the finals which will be played on Monday, 19 December 2022. They will play against Argentina. Argentina lost to France in the knockout rounds of the previous World Cup and Argentina may just be back with a vengeance this time.
