Sharik Sazzad is a child prodigy.
This Tauranga based child can recognise the National Flag of more than 30 countries, and is a wordsmith, capable of picking up words that are far beyond his age.
Sharik will turn three years this month.
His parents Sazzadul Karim and Shamima Akter are hopeful that their son will one day become a famous scientist.
Sazzadul said that he and his wife treat their son as an adult.
“Many of us underestimate the intellectual capacity of our children. Sharik read more than 1000 books including, Bob the Builder,’ ‘The World Atlas’ and ‘The Guinness Book of Records’ when he was just two years of age.”
Future Scientist
Shamima said that she hears her son praying to Allah to make him a world famous scientist. “There is perhaps another Albert Einstein in the making.”
Child Prodigy is defined as a person under the age of ten who produces meaningful output in some domain to the level of an adult expert performer.
Child prodigies are rare, and in some domains, there is none.
Prodigiousness in childhood does not always predict adult eminence. The persons listed here have come to the haphazard attention of history or current news and probably do not represent the typical experience of a child prodigy.
In Astronomy, Tanishq Mathew Abraham (born 2003) prodigy of Indian origin famous for having been admitted to the On-Campus College Astronomy when he was just seven years of age. Not only did he pass the course with an A grade but he was the top student among his college classmates (the youngest in the world).
