Radio Tarana is proving yet again that New Zealand can hold out on its own with exclusive visits of Bollywood film stars, without having to coordinate with organisers of events in Australia.
The top Indian Radio Station is hosting the visit of Dharmendra, the megastar of the Hindi film industry. He will appear at the ‘Manukau Diwali’ scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Vodafone Events Centre, 770 Great South Road, Manukau.
Travel Point is jointly presenting the programme, which will commence at 12 pm and conclude with spectacular fireworks at 9 pm.
The team at Radio Tarana has been busy organising the event and coordinating with a number of agencies, organisations and groups. Based on Diwali 2013 at which Tarana hosted Dharmendra’s younger son Bobby Deol, at least 60,000 people are expected to attend the nine-hour event.
The official opening ceremony is due to be held around 230 pm with the attendance of Ministers, Members of Parliament, community leaders and other invited guests.
Stalls dealing in food items, crafts, henna and other items and amusement for children are among the features of the ‘Tarana Manukau Diwali 2014.’
