Eternal happiness transcends material world

Eternal happiness- Deepakbhai Desai.jpgWealth, career success, satisfaction, good family and entertainment are all transitory and cannot be termed true happiness, says a teacher who helps people achieve eternal happiness.

“True happiness is permanent and is not dependant on any of material things. Every human being has the right to seek and achieve eternal happiness,” spiritual master Pujya Deepakbhai Desai said.

He will be in Auckland next month to conduct a series of Satsang ‘lessons,’ which have found favour with hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.

A group of ‘friends,’ dedicated to the Dadabhagwan Organisation based in Gujarat, India, with branches in several countries is organising the programme, which is open to people of all ethnic groups, irrespective of their religious or social beliefs.

Deepakbhai Desai is reported to be one of those ‘enlightened souls,’ ordained the ‘right’ to show the path to permanent happiness by Ambalal Patel, popularly known as Gnani Purush (The Enlightened) Dada Bhagwan and Dadashri and by Pujya Nirben Amin (Niruma).

“The so-called happiness a person experiences from temporary states (of Wealth, success and so on) turns into an experience of unhappiness when they are absent or in excess. Hence, one needs to find happiness that is permanent and that which is not dependent upon anything,” Deekpakbhai said.

According to him, the ultimate goal of a human being is to attain permanent happiness and complete independence and freedom from all worldly bondage.

Deepakbhai defines ‘happiness’ as an experience that comes naturally.

“You do not have to make any effort to acquire it and it remains permanently. Once attained, there is no pain or misery. True happiness is eternal, and once attained, cannot be taken away,” he said.

Deepakbhai drew an analogy to describe a person seeking material happiness.

“It is like a tall man sleeping on the terrace on a cold winter’s night with only a small blanket. His head gets cold if he covers his feet, and his feet get cold if he covers his head. He spends the entire night tossing and turning.

“This is what the pursuit of worldly happiness is like. The experience of worldly happiness is different for everyone,” he said.

He said the Science of Akram Vignan, expounded by Dadashri can permanently establish a person in his or her ‘Real Self,’ with permanent happiness.

He said thousands of people were experiencing the bliss of their own Self, despite leading a worldly life.
