Auckland based WAML Group Limited and Chennai (India) firm Teledata Informatics Limited have joined the list of sponsors of the Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards (IBA) 2010.
The two companies will jointly sponsor the Best Medium Business Category.
All Eleven categories of IBA 2010 are now sponsored.
WAML Group Chairman Wenceslaus Anthony described IBA as a “Great way of recognising Indian businesses across many sectors in New Zealand.”
“The Awards Scheme is an acknowledgment of business processes, business excellence and overall business success. Entering the Award itself provides the opportunity to analyse one’s own business whilst celebrating one’s own business success. Winning an Award is a greater celebration with the extended business community,” he said.
WAML recently entered into an agreement with Teledata Informatics Limited and its tie-up with educational institutes to market a number of products and services, including the growing field of E-learning.
Mr Anthony said his Group is now in their 11th year of operations as an international marketing company, with offices in Australia, India, Sri Lanka and Ghana.
“These offices also identify right suppliers to meet our requirements,” he said.
Teledata Managing Director Krishnamurthy Padmanabhan said his Company was keen to develop its products and services suitable for the New Zealand and other markets in which it has its presence and operations.
“Our partnership with Mr Anthony and his WAML Group would give us the focus required to achieve our corporate objective of reaching across to a cross-section of businesses in New Zealand and many other parts of the world. We are excited about the agreement with the Group,” he said.
Mr Anthony said that since its establishment 20 years ago, Teledata Informatics Ltd has grown to be a global software solutions company providing solutions for the Education, Utilities, and Networking & Communication industries.
“I am sure that IBA sponsorship will, apart from encouraging medium businesses to improve their performance, accord us a great market profile,” he said.
