About the Discussion

You can get to know the answers to the above questions and more from India’s High Commissioner to New Zealand Muktesh Pardeshi this weekend.

‘Indians Living in Auckland,’ the largest Facebook group of Indians in the country’s biggest city is organising a Discussion with the distinguished diplomat in association with Indian Newslink. The Programme, being co-hosted by the Wellington-based Indian High Commission, will be held from 3 pm to 4.30 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

The Discussion is a part of the joint efforts of ‘Indians Living in Auckland Facebook Group’ and Indian Newslink to foster positive and constructive discussions regularly with diplomats, ministers, parliamentarians, community leaders and others.

Rashna Tata, a popular community leader, will moderate the discussion and present questions to Mr Pardeshi on behalf of members of the Group, readers of Indian Newslink and other guests. Nitin Suri, an IT expert, will manage the technical aspects of the programme.

The event will be available on Facebook and YouTube later.

Some ground rules

Mr Pardeshi will endeavour to answer as many questions as possible.

However, questions should be sent on or before 6 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022 by email to indianslivinginauckland1@gmail.com

Some ground rules are to be followed in the interest of a robust discussion.

  1. Please mute your audio and disable your video. This compliance is mandatory
  2. There will no discussions on politics or religion; no name-calling and no derogatory remarks on any person
  3. Supplementary questions may be asked on the chat line during the Discussion but they will be chosen subject to time and other constraints
  4. The Team Meetings Administrator reserves the right to remove anyone who violates the conditions
