You could be one of those select few to participate in a flash mob being organised by ‘Indiance,’ arguably the most talented group of youngsters teaching, practising and performing Bollywood dances.
Akshita Patel, Director of the School said that it could be the biggest Bollywood flash mob to be held in Auckland.
“It will be held on Saturday, October 13 and would be open for anyone aged 13 years and above. Each participate would be required to pay $10 to cover overhead costs including hall hire. Each participant will receive a T Shirt as a token of appreciation,” she said.
Those interested can register online the Indiance website (www.indiance.co.nz) or email (admin@indiance.co.nz) for a registration form.
“The flash mob is to promote ‘Bombay Beat: Bollywood Heat,’ the first massive production of its type, to be staged in 2013,” she said.
Details of the event will appear in our subsequent issues.
Established in 2005 with just a few students, Indiance has grown to account for more than 85 students in the 5-25 age group. As well as conducting dance classes, the organisation produces Bollywood style dramas, with its own script, costumes, choreography and performers.
“Our vision is to provide opportunities for children and youth to express their creativity in a vibrant, challenging and fun environment,” Mrs Patel said.
